The Long Night of Museums invites visitors to discover Hamburg's diverse museum landscape outside of regular opening hours. Numerous museums, exhibition venues, and memorial sites open their doors on this evening and present a varied special program.
In addition to current and permanent exhibitions, visitors can expect guided tours, workshops, readings, hands-on activities, and music and cultural events. This offers the opportunity to explore well-known institutions as well as smaller or less familiar exhibition venues. Special transport and shuttle services facilitate travel between the participating venues.
The event combines art, history, science and culture into a special nighttime urban experience and is aimed at a diverse audience.
