The wild herb experts from Freibeuter e. V. will guide you through the Wilhelmsburg Island Park in search of edible plants.
We'll tap into your passion for collecting and curiosity and teach you, in a playful way, to walk through nature and the seasons with open eyes and experience how delicious wild plants taste. Together we'll discover which edible wild plants grow in the island park.
We'll search for plants like ground elder, garlic mustard, and plantain and explore them with all of our senses. How do we recognize them? What do they taste and smell like? And what are they good for? Finally, we'll prepare a snack and a drink together in the KulturKapelle.
