We are delighted to be hosting the children's festival, known far beyond Buchholz, for the 22nd time on the occasion of World Children's Day on Sunday, September 21st, and to see many smiling faces.
There will once again be a wide range of activities in the parking lot in front of the cinema: bouncy castles, face painting, treasure hunts, painting and crafts corners, goal-scoring, friendship bracelet making and much more. But there will also be plenty of food and drink, as in addition to typical cinema fare like popcorn and nachos, there will also be candy floss, crêpes, bratwurst, fries, slash and much more.
We're delighted that numerous partners are participating again. We'd like to thank the Child Protection Association, the AOK (health insurance company), Keese Optik, the Handball Luchsen (handball club), and Landleben Buchholz for their support, for once again supporting us with activities and thus rounding out the program."
The cinema doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the first films start at 10:00 a.m. You can find all the films and showtimes here in the program. All films, for both young and old, cost just €5 and are ad-free. Since we've had numerous sold-out screenings in recent years, we recommend purchasing tickets well in advance.
We also have the preview of “The School for Magical Animals 4” on this day, which, however, does not have reduced admission. As with the other films that evening, regular admission applies.
We recommend the P+R parking lot at the blue pedestrian bridge, the Schützenplatz, or the parking lot at the Buchholzer Höfen. All parking spaces are within walking distance of the cinema, about 4 minutes.
