Play, fun, and joy
The Wild West warmly welcomes you.
Once a year, the Karl-May-Platz transforms into a large playground – and that always during the children's festival of the Karl-May Games. For the 33rd time, Kalkberg GmbH will host this cultural event on Sunday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A colorful program full of free participation activities will be offered around the open-air theater at Kalkberg. A special highlight of the festival: actors from the ensemble of "Under Vultures: The Spirit of the Llano Estacado" will come to the big autograph session in the Indian Village.
Managing Director Ute Thienel: "The children's festival has been a firm date in our Wild West summer for decades. Where can families nowadays experience such an extensive program completely free of charge? It is our concern to make this possible – together with our partners! I thank everyone who actively supports us for this festival for the children!" The parking lots of the Karl-May Games can also be used free of charge (as always).
Following the children's festival, a performance of "Under Vultures: The Spirit of the Llano Estacado" will take place at 3 p.m.
