We are telling the story "Jim is in a bad mood" by Suzanne Lang using Kamishibai. In this storytelling theater, large picture cards are inserted into a wooden frame and shown to accompany the story.
Jim is in a bad mood: The sun is too bright, the sky too blue, and the bananas taste too sweet! "Maybe you're in a bad mood," his friend Nick suggests. But Jim is certain: "I'm NOT in a bad mood!" When his friends try to cheer him up—"Jump up and down!", "Dance!", or "Take a nap!"—he storms off angrily. Nothing seems to help. Could it be that he's just having a bad day?
