We tell the story "Elmar" by David McKee as a Kamishibai. In this storytelling theater, large picture cards are inserted into a wooden frame and displayed to accompany the story.
Elmar isn't an elephant like any other. He's brightly checked and not at all elephant-colored. He's cheerful and has a head full of pranks. But secretly, Elmar wishes he could look just like every other elephant. And one day, he comes up with a plan.
