The young Swedish-Norwegian violinist Johan Dalene has long proven that virtuoso violin music is also at home in northern Europe. As one of the world’s most sought-after young artists, he is a strong supporter of the composers of his native Scandinavia. Together with pianist Christian Ihle Hadland he recorded the album »Nordic Rhapsody«, on which the two musicians devote themselves entirely to the world of Nordic music, sometimes light-footed, sometimes profound. At his acclaimed Elbphilharmonie concert last year, he also presented the violin concerto by Danish composer Carl Nielsen.
