• Guided Tour

We have developed a new, interactive tour for (young) adults and families with children, because the present is everywhere – including, or especially, in the collections of older art! In the HERE IS THE PRESENT tours, we want to make it tangible, through shared conversation and action, that both old and newer, contemporary art can help us approach the important questions of our own time: How do we communicate? What do we feel? How do we express emotions? What are our desires? What are our fears? How do we love? How do we relate to our environment? How do we deal with transience? By selecting works that alternately focus on older and younger, even very recent, works from a variety of artistic genres, a bridge is built between the past and the present. The content of each tour also varies from time to time, allowing visitors to participate multiple times and discover something new each time. The tour is designed so that it can be conducted as a tour for adults only or for mixed groups of different ages.
