HARBOR CRUISE WITH HEART
VENICE meets HAMBURG
Sailing on the schooner yacht SAMYRAH
Many ships take guests on sightseeing trips to view the diverse program on land and on the water from the water.
Join us for a short trip on the Elbe River.
It's not just about watching ships. We'll cruise past the Hanseatic city's skyline and through the harbor. We'll pass the Elbphilharmonie, the Oevelgönne Museum Harbor, and the white villas of the Elbchaussee. We'll also see the Airbus site and the harbor basins with container ships and loading facilities. There might even be a detour into the Maritime Harbor to see the four-masted barque PEKING (depending on traffic restrictions on the Elbe).
Have fun discovering the Hanseatic city from the water!
THE SHIP
The elegant schooner yacht SAMYRAH was built in Venice in 1983. Commissioned by a private Italian client, the vessel was designed by renowned yacht designer RD Culler, featuring elegant lines. This is evident in the playful details of the hull and interior, crafted from teak, mahogany, and olive wood.
The SAMYRAH was designed in the style of ships that sailed along the American East Coast around 1850. Today, she cruises the North and Baltic Seas, delighting onlookers. The onboard philosophy is climate-conscious behavior – sails are used whenever possible, and carbon offsetting for engine operation is donated to atmosfair.
The ship is approximately 20m long with a sail area of 160 square meters.
