Sailing Parade, Port Anniversary
Sailing on a two- or three-masted sailing ship
A beautiful traditional sailing schooner awaits you, ready to let you breathe in the sea air and experience the hustle and bustle of the harbor.
The plan is to sail past the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers) towards the museum harbor and Blankenese after setting sail. Then we'll head back and set course for the Elbe bridges. There, we'll sort ourselves out.
In front of the Elbphilharmonie and in the harbor basins, all ships will be in their parade formation and we will go to the correct position.
The lead boat is the last to bring up the rear of the parade, and with the starting signal, the parade begins. Depending on the wind and weather, more or fewer sails may be hoisted. The goal, however, is always to look "pretty" :-) We sail past the shores lined with tens of thousands of people and the floating pontoons of the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers). Here, representatives of the City of Hamburg officially bid farewell to all visiting ships.
The journey continues – past the festival grounds, the fish market, the fish auction hall, and container terminals. We pass the tugboat harbor and the museum harbor in Oevelgönne, the small captains' houses of Oevelgönne, and the beautiful villas along the Elbchaussee. Everywhere, onlookers gather to bid farewell to the beautiful ships.

Oh yes - if you are interested in seamanship, feel free to ask the crew, they will be happy to have helping hands when setting sail or show you a special nautical knot.
YOUR SHIPS
A selection of the ships currently available to come to Hamburg
You will receive the name of "your" ship by email approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the event. Currently, one of the following ships is being considered.
Luciana, Hendrika Bartelds, Zephyr, Swaensborgh and Twister.
All traditional tall ships feature a large outdoor area with seating and a comfortable lounge. Sanitary facilities are also available. Onboard service will attend to your beverage needs.
The number of people in a booking will of course all be on the same ship.

including welcome drink and sailor's meal
Additional drinks and snacks are available à la carte from the onboard bar (for a fee).
