The Blankenese Gospel Choir invites you to join us for a weekend of song, community and fun with Hamburg native, singer Jessy Martens. Jessy has worked as a professional singer, choir director and vocal coach for many years. She is known for her powerful voice and her contagious energy and warm personality ensure everyone feels comfortable on stage. Pianst and music director Wulf Winkelmüller will accompany the workshop and the final concert.
Together with Jessy and Wulf, workshop participants will learn a number of gospel, pop and rock songs along with practical tips and tricks to improve their singing, all while enjoying the sense of community singing together brings.
No prior musical experience required – anyone who enjoys singing is welcome.
The workshop kicks off on Friday evening and takes place all day on Saturday and Sunday, rounded off by a concert in the Blankenese church on Sunday evening. The number of participants is limited, so reserve your spot now.

Please register by email to workshop@gospel-blankenese.de an and transfer the participation fee of €100 (including one concert ticket, coffee, tea and snacks) to the bank account below. Please let us know your vocal range when you register, as participants will be grouped by voice type.
We can only reserve a workshop spot once your participation fee has been recieved. Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation to the workshop – either printed out or digitally on you smartphone. The participation fee is non-refundable should you be unable to participate.
