When Hollywood star Whoopi Goldberg filled cinemas in 1992 with the American blockbuster “Sister Act”, an international youth choir was formed shortly afterwards at the Goethe School Harburg (GSH). It was the seed for a music project that, 23 years after its foundation, has set new standards. Today, Gospel Train is synonymous with polished arrangements, innovative cover versions of world-famous hits and choral singing with a distinctive style. However, the project also stands for social commitment, compassion and a vibrant sense of community.
