It‘s time to get serious! The message of this ProArte X concert title is quite clear. It leaves us in no doubt that whatever we can expect from this evening’s artists, it is going to be »Serious Music«. Regardless of how we wish to interpret this message, we can be sure that the artists themselves take their music very seriously. Giorgi Gigashvili is a highly versatile pianist who will be joined by singer Nikala Zubiashvili. Known for his flexibility as a live electronics artist, Nikala is also one of the most exciting young talents on the Georgian music scene. Gigashvili is returning to the Elbphilharmonie after his success last season in our ProArte series of concerts for upcoming pianists. The pair perform artfully and with obvious enjoyment as their musical experimentation takes them from Beethoven to Jazz and from Ravel to Hip-Hop.
