Giants of the sea – deep-sea tugs ELBE and HOLLAND (museum ships) Celebrations

If you see the silhouettes of the ocean-going tugs ELBE and HOLLAND appear in front of the Landungsbrücken at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, you'll be immersed in the eventful history of towing on the high seas. Built in the 1950s, they often made the impossible possible in stormy seas and now tell their story as proud museum ships. Alongside them, you'll see the fire department's fireboat, another symbol of readiness, courage, and safety.
