Meditation in the Planetary Garden with Anke Fricke – botanist and course leader for meditation and mindfulness
We invite you to practice meditation and mindfulness together in the Planetary Garden of the Botanical Garden. Meditating outdoors is a particularly healing experience. Would you like more relaxation, more "me time," more time to pause and recharge? Then come as you are. With little or a lot of meditation experience. Do something good for yourself!
The following meditations await you!
1. Healing Meditation for the Body - Thursday, 24.07.25
Completely connect with your body. By shaking, loosening, and tapping the meridians, we release what weighs us down. Afterwards, we meditate with white, healing light, which we imagine passing through our bodies. Finally, we fill the body with new energy. This meditation releases tension, helps you get moving, and revitalizes you.
2. Loving Kindness Meditation - Friday, August 15, 2025 (Assumption of Mary)
This form of meditation has a very long tradition. With it, we first practice self-love for ourselves and then extend that love to those around us. Finally, we return to ourselves.
3. Blessing Meditation for our Earth - Thursday, September 4, 2025
This meditation is also called the Two Hearts Meditation. We become a channel for divine energy, which simply flows through us, and bestow blessings upon planet Earth. This meditation helps manifest peace on Earth. To begin, we will each enjoy an incense burn on a sieve containing native plants.
Anke Fricke, a volunteer in the Botanical Garden, botanist and course leader for meditation and mindfulness with many years of experience, will lead these meditations.
Please bring a sleeping mat or other surface as well as a yoga cushion or similar so that you can stand and sit comfortably and safely.
Some prior meditation experience is helpful but not essential. However, a willingness to engage in meditation and an interest in spirituality and mindfulness are essential.

The meditations last about 1 hour
Participants: max. 12 people
Time: always 6:00 p.m.
In rainy weather, the event takes place in the greenhouse.
Afterwards, Anke Fricke will be happy to explain something about the Planet Garden project and answer questions on the topic.
