Under the title “HANSE GUITAR CUP”, an international competition for young musicians will once again be integrated into the program of the Hamburg Guitar Days.
Following an application round, 12 young guitarists will compete in a tournament format at six different Haspa branches in the surrounding area, with three finalists each in the categories of "Classical Guitar" and "Popular Guitar Styles." The final will take place on the stage of the Hamburg Guitar Festival. The winners of the competition will receive, among other prizes, an engagement at the Hamburg Guitar Days or the Hamburg Guitar Festival 2028 the following year. Admission to all competition concerts is free.
