The mooring boats give it their all in the mooring boat race. Here, the lovingly maintained historic mooring boats from the Oevelgönne Museum Harbor compete against the modern workboats that normally assist in mooring large ships. At the turning mark in front of the landing stages, the skippers must demonstrate their driving skills. Once the winner is determined, the mooring boats meet at the Oevelgönne Museum Harbor for the traditional "Mok fast."
