In his pictures, Nils Peters likes to work with association and imagination. A good example is the photo below: Nils Peters took his son as a model and depicted him smoking a cigarette, looking shady and offering a giant grasshopper – on a journey back in time to 1910.
This picture also thrives on its contrasts – while the boy can be described as wild,
perhaps even dangerous, the work's namesake is not: the British poet Lord Byron is known for his romantic prose. To date, Nils Peters' works have been shown in over 120 exhibitions, including 18 solo exhibitions. Nils Peters lives and works in Hamburg. The popstreet.shop gallery is looking forward to his magnificent works, which will be presented at wineBank Hamburg.
Vernissage: Tuesday, 23 September, 6 p.m.
