The painters Viola Lang and Bettina Bick, true northerners at heart, got to know and appreciate each other in the Hamburg art scene, not least because of the related themes of their work.
In the exhibition ‘Im Norden’ (In the North), they now come together, the myths and legends, the wind from the north-west and the wide horizons.
Both artists work predominantly in acrylic.
However, graphics and mixed media are also on display.
From 19 April to 28 June, interested art lovers can immerse themselves in the landscapes and animal worlds of northern Germany, complemented by an excursion into Viola Lang's still lifes and Bettina Bick's portrait paintings.
