Sarah Farina: Sarah Farina sprinkles positivity over the darkest bass . For over 15+ years, the international, Berlin-based DJ,
producer, curator, and community organiser has been exploring the places where music, culture, and people
meet.
Her genre-fluid style seamlessly blends bass-heavy frequencies, house, techno, jungle, and the hardcore
continuum, a ethos she calls RainbowBass. This vision has taken her from Berghain and Drumsheds to global
festivals like MUTEK Montréal, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Fusion , sharing line-ups with artists from
Underground Resistance to Jlin.
Beyond the booth, Sarah has eleased music on labels like Teklife and Monkeytown Records. She co-founded
‘Emergent Bass’ to honor Afro-diasporic club roots, co-runs the care collective ‘ Transmission’, and has led 35+
workshops from Detroit to Rwanda. At her core, Sarah uses music as a gateway to connect modern dance floors
with the rich lineages and communities behind them.
