The Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy took place for the third time in August 2025. Selected by an expert jury, young jazz talents on their way to a professional career once again received a week of coaching under the guidance of Donny McCaslin and other renowned musicians and lecturers. The Academy culminated in a joint concert, which now returns to the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie: in three ensembles, the academy students and their mentors present the results of the workshops and coaching sessions and celebrate the musical togetherness of jazz just as vividly as they did last summer.
