The traveling exhibition on self-determination and protection from sexual violence is back in Hamburg. Here, people with learning disabilities learn everything about love, the body, and sexuality—both the positive and the dangerous aspects.
The exhibition offers a lot to see, hear, and try out. Visitors playfully learn about the topics themselves, as well as their own perspectives on them. They also learn to better assess certain situations in the areas of living, work, and leisure.
At all stations, people with disabilities share their experiences. The legal background is also explained at all stations. All texts are written in simple language. The texts can be read aloud using a pen.
Clients of the sponsors will guide you through the exhibition. The exhibition opens on November 5th at 4 p.m. and will be open from then on during the following times:
Mon. – Fri.
10am-1pm
2-5 p.m.
For groups of 6 or more, please register at: EchtmeinRecht2024@mail.de
"REALLY MY RIGHT!" is now being shown for the fourth time in the Hanseatic city. The initiative is being organized by a Hamburg alliance of social institutions consisting of the Evangelische Stiftung Alsterdorf, the Elbe-Werkstätten, Life with Disabilities Hamburg, the Rauhes Haus, and the Sozialkontor.
The concept for "REALLY MY RIGHT!" originated from the PETZE Institute for Violence Prevention. PETZE is committed to raising awareness about sexual violence and sexual abuse through educational programs.
