In this DJ workshop, participants can learn the basics of vinyl DJing techniques. From sourcing materials and selecting music to technical know-how and tricks for playing vinyl records, the focus is on trying things out. At the same time, questions about everyday life, the specifics, and challenges of DJing are welcome.
DJ Resom leads the workshop. As internationally successful DJ she is wordlwide in high demand and has been a resident artist at clubs such as ://about blank and Paloma in Berlin, as well as Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club.
The workshop takes place on October 4 (vinyl) and October 5 (CDJ) in cooperation with Spoon. Spoon is a DJ workspace founded in 2018 for women, trans, and non-binary individuals, where they can learn to DJ with vinyl in a non-judgmental atmosphere, exchange ideas, and develop as artists.
