In this DJ workshop, participants can learn the basics of vinyl DJing techniques. From sourcing equipment and selecting music to technical know-how and tricks for playing vinyl records, the focus is on hands-on experience. Questions about everyday life, the specifics, and challenges of DJing are also welcome.
DJ Resom leads the workshop. As internationally successful DJ she is wordlwide in high demand and has been a resident artist at clubs such as ://about blank and Paloma in Berlin, as well as Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club.
The workshop will take place in cooperation with Spoon. Spoon is a DJ workspace for women, trans, and non-binary people, where they can learn to DJ with vinyl in a non-judgmental atmosphere, exchange ideas, and develop as artists.
