»We can certainly expect to hear more from Elisabeth Pion in future!« This well-meant statement is actually a little unfair to this brilliant young artist. In reality, we are already hearing plenty from her as she tours worldwide to play orchestral and chamber music concerts and record highly-praised CDs. She recently also gave an excellent winning performance at the 2025 Honens International Piano Competition. A native French-Canadian, Elisabeth seems perfectly suited to the role of a prominent modern-day artist. She has a deep understanding of music and plays with immaculate technique. She loves science, literature and philosophy. She also practices Tai Chi regularly, sometimes even holding workshops for members of the orchestra or the audience. Highly regarded for her new interpretations of well-known works and passionate about long-forgotten music by the French composer Hélène de Montgeroult, she is a co-founder of the Unisson Festival and involved in a wide range of other interdisciplinary projects. We are thrilled to welcome this exciting and versatile pianist to ProArte for her debut
