The Little Dragon Coconut
Dragons can fly and breathe fire. But they have to learn how first. That's also true for the little dragon Coconut, who lives on Dragon Island with his friend, the porcupine Matilda. Coconut is desperate: In just a few days, the big school festival will take place, where all the flying students will fly from the cliff to Fire Rock. Coconut is the only one in his class who hasn't yet managed to jump off the cliff. He has a terrible fear of heights. And that's very inconvenient for a flying dragon.
Something has to be done. Someone has to teach Little Dragon Coconut how to fly. But who? Dieter the Jet, reigning world champion in endurance flying, becomes Little Dragon Coconut's private flight instructor. Coconut learns and practices diligently. Suddenly, a pirate ship lands on Dragon Island. The pirates are supposed to capture a real fire dragon for the wizard Goatbeard. Coconut is in danger, and his friend Matilda is turned to stone by Goatbeard. To save her, Coconut must travel across the desert to the witch Rubinia. Only the witch can free Matilda now.
Can Matilda be rescued? And will Coconut pass his flying test? THE LITTLE DRAGON COCONUT is the latest theatrical spectacle from the Bielefeld Chamber Puppet Theatre. The puppet theatre presents Ingo Siegner's bestseller with large puppets, actors, and captivating music.
