With Craig Taborn, an unmitigated world star of avant-garde jazz comes to Hamburg. The pianist from Minneapolis has been on the lookout for new sounds for over a quarter of a century. He finds them not only on his own instrument, but also on modular synthesisers and in electronic effects, which he lays down over his highly improvised playing.
