Sailing on the 3-masted barquentine ATLANTIS
This year, you can once again embark on a three-hour harbor and Elbe River cruise aboard the magnificent ATLANTIS. The trip heads towards Blankenese. You'll see the beautiful skyline of the Hanseatic city, the magnificent villas along the Elbchaussee, the museum harbor in Oevelgönne with its small captains' houses, enormous container ships and terminals, the Elbphilharmonie (Elphi), and the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers).
The legendary tugboat ballet is scheduled to take place in front of the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers) from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (as of October 25). We'll try to get a good viewing spot on the Elbe River. Since the organizers may make changes to the schedule, this is not guaranteed.
On board, the crew will treat you to coffee and tea – delicious cakes are available for purchase in the galley. You can also buy a glass of wine, soft drinks, or freshly tapped beer.
Enjoy the beautiful tallship ATLANTIS and if you feel like it - help to set the sails or have someone show you how to tie knots.
During your trip you will see the AIDAperla, which arrived today, as well as the MS Hanseatic spirit and the MS Vasco da Gama at their berths.
Hamburg has a lot to offer along and on the Elbe River.
