Bryn Jones' "Brew" delivers an American-inspired, bluesy, and down-to-earth rock 'n' roll. The band's songs address the fundamental pillars of rock, such as love, loss, joy, and grief.
The musical styles range from country, reggae, honky-tonk and rock'n'roll, representing the tradition of classic rock, where genre boundaries were blurred by the power of good music and catchy songs.
The Brew is:
Bryn Jones (Los Bastardos Finlandeses) - vocals, guitar
Altti Uhlenius (Everybody) - guitar
Jukka Jylli (Kingston Wall) - bass
Mikko Siren (Apocalyptica) - drums
Petri Rahikkala - piano

The musical influences are clearly audible: 60s/70s blues rock! Bands like the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead are unmistakable influences on BLU. However, the band doesn't simply adopt the style of their idols; they incorporate elements and stylistic devices from the indie scene, creating a symbiosis of the sounds of the 60s, 70s, and the 21st century.
Driving riffs, soulful ballads, and virtuoso solos captivate the audience at every concert! The set consists of original songs and cover songs from these influences.

Civic Soma is a rock quartet from Hamburg.
At times their music is thrillingly progressive, at times psychedelic and ethereal. The rhythmically playful drive of Marc Rinderspacher (drums) and the delicate yet powerful effects storms of Dimas Uku Bass (bass) complement each other to form a powerful foundation upon which Martin Schulz (guitar) can unleash his diverse harmonies and skillful runs. Embedded within this, Marc Borchert (vocals) sings and speaks, sometimes powerfully, sometimes tenderly.
Their 2018 debut album, "Hybris," tells the story of two feuding religious warriors who ultimately (spoiler alert!) merge into one god. In 2024, the band released their second album, "Koloss." This concept album explores the state, from its creation to its destruction—and vice versa. Beneath the energetic music of "Koloss" lurks a powerful deconstruction of nationalism, capitalism, fascism, tyrannicide, and revolution, which (hopefully) serves as an escape from reality—or a warning...
Civic Soma are currently working to escape the apocalypse…
