Festival Opening: Gateway to Groove
-------------------

With “Gateway to Groove”, the 11th Body Rhythm Festival opens its doors to an evening full of rhythm, energy and narrative power.

The opening act is Hillary-Marie, an interdisciplinary tap dance artist from the USA. Virtuosic and moving, she combines percussive elements with theatrical storytelling – a multi-award-winning artist with international experience and collaborations with renowned artists such as Take 6 and Wycliffe Gordon. In the second part, the Groove Crew takes over the stage: five versatile performers from Austria create a captivating soundscape with their bodies and voices. Pounding body percussion, lyrical a cappella passages, and humorous rhythmic sequences merge into a thrilling whole.

Two acts, one evening: here, bodies become instruments, community is palpable, and groove becomes a common language. Welcome to the Body Rhythm Festival!
