When renowned jazz greats and up-and-coming talents take to the stage together for a good cause, the result is a musical experience in a class of its own. At the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, the audience can expect a unique evening full of energy, emotion and musical diversity – from modern jazz grooves to melodious classics.

The evening’s star guests include the multi-award-winning star trumpeter Nils Wülker, the internationally acclaimed pianist Luca Sestak and the exceptional Swedish pianist Joel Lyssarides. The line-up is completed by Kilian Sladek, former singer of the Bundesjazzorchester, who enhances the program with his distinctive voice.

They will be accompanied by the band of benefit concert initiator Konstantin Kölmel, the Konstantin Kölmel Project, a young and high-caliber ensemble that also includes Sladek, with »Forbes 30 under 30« saxophonist Nikola Bankov, bassist Paul Dupont, Valentin Hansel (guitar) and Konstantin Kölmel (drums).

The proceeds from the concert will go towards university education projects run by the NGO »Liberating Education Organization«, which was founded by young people in remote regions of Kenya and Malawi to give young people access to university education. An evening that inspires musically – and at the same time creates new perspectives.
