Bats are both fascinating and unknown creatures. On Hamburg's Family Day, we will attempt to shed light on the hidden lives of bats on our tour through Wilhelmsburg Island Park (starting and ending at the BUND Nature Experience Garden). We will introduce you to the various nocturnal hunters and their communication. This will allow us to learn a great deal about the secret lives of our native bats: How do these nocturnal flying artists live and hunt? What do bats need to feel comfortable, and what threatens them?
