This special concert features one of the most outstanding works of Baroque polyphony: Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber’s Missa Salisburgensis. The Baroque ensemble of the Bavarian State Orchestra joins forces with the renowned Augsburg Cathedral Boys’ Choir and the specialist ensemble Les Cornets Noirs to create an extraordinary sound experience. Under the baton of experienced Baroque specialists, the magnificent polyphony of the work unfolds in all its spatial and tonal splendor – a musical celebration of Baroque opulence that transforms the sacred space into pure sound architecture.
