Ausstellung Science Center Wald im WÄLDERHAUS

On the ground floor of the Wälderhaus is the Science Center Forest, which is managed by the German Forest Protection Association (SDW) Lv. Hamburg.
At various exploration and microscopy stations, numerous aspects of the forest – such as its ecological function, its role in the water balance and climate, its biological diversity (biodiversity) and its comprehensive cultural significance – are clearly documented, presented and explained.
The permanent exhibition at the Science Center Wald is open daily and can be visited free of charge from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
