The Hamburg Youth Guitar Orchestra will be travelling to the LOW prizewinners' concert on May 18, where it won first prize in October 2024
On October 12, 2024, the Hamburg Youth Guitar Orchestra (JGOH) played at the Hamburg State Orchestra Competition. Here it presented an exciting program with insights into different eras - Baroque with JS Bach, late Romanticism with Edward Elgar, Impressionism with Ravel and Modernism with Patrick Roux. After a long preparation, the orchestra managed to score 24.25 points and thus a first prize and qualify for the German Orchestra Competition.
On May 18th, you can now experience excerpts from the competition program at the prizewinners' concert in Neumünster, along with exciting performances by other prizewinner orchestras in the competition.
