Less asphalt and more space for nature and people in the city is the motto again for the Asphaltsprenger Festival on May 9, 2025 - the urban nature festival by and for young people, open-air and free of charge in Hammerbrook.
With a diverse program of nature and culture, as well as live music from 2 pm until sunset, the joint environmental action day of the Hamburg Citizens' Foundation and the Loki Schmidt Foundation is dedicated to urban nature and a sustainable lifestyle. The PARKS grounds of the former recycling center in Hammerbrook and along the flood basin to Süderstraße will be transformed into an exploration area and experimental fair.
Live music, vegan food and a diverse program focusing on youth engagement, sustainable urban planning, nature and climate protection await you: At the ASPHALTSPRENGER festival, visitors can get to know the projects of various initiatives through workshops, lectures and guided tours.
