Annique Göttler/ Piano Recital
- Classical Music
At the centre of the programme are Chopin’s four ballades – poetic and dramatic masterpieces that reflect an entire era of Romanticism with their complexity. Beethoven’s Pathétique, a sonata characterised by inner tension, and Debussy’s Suite bergamasque, whose floating tone colours open the senses to subtle nuances, pave the way to these highlights. An evening that leads from the early Romantic period to the late style and reaches its artistic climax in Chopin’s Ballades.
