This introductory session is designed to be especially age-friendly and takes into account the needs of older participants. No prior technical knowledge is necessary! In the MakerLab, we provide various devices that you can use independently. To use our 3D printers, you will need a valid library card and an introduction to the devices before using them. This introduction will take place here. After the introduction, you can reserve the devices and complete your projects independently.
We will show you the following:
- How do I correctly put the 3D printer into operation?
- What software can you use and what do you need to be aware of?
- What should you do if an error occurs during the printing process?
- Who should you contact if you experience technical problems with the device?
Since space is limited, accompanying persons must also book their own ticket.
The MakerLab is a place where curiosity is sparked and creative ideas are brought to life. A wide range of equipment, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, plotters, sewing and embroidery machines, are available for your own projects. You can find all the information and dates for the MakerLab here.
