Our Christmas carol singing in the evening
(There is one more in the afternoon and one specifically for children tomorrow)
Almost everyone sings—whether in the shower, while driving, or while cheering on their sports team. Some more, some less, but everyone feels it: Singing frees the body and soul, demonstrably makes you happy, and is even more fun when sung with others! This is especially true for Christmas carols in December, of course. So, let's go!
This year, the singing will once again be a colorful and familiar mix. Whether German, American swing, traditional, or rock/pop, the result is an evening for everyone to join in with popular songs such as "Alle Jahre wieder," "Rudolph," "Silent Night," "Let it Snow," and many more.
It doesn't matter whether you "can" it or not. Whether you're 15 or 65, a kid or a tween, a "professional" or a casual nightingale, with full fervor or a bit more shy: everyone can easily sing along, because the lyrics are displayed on a large screen above the stage, and the melodies are familiar. And if you can't, Suely Lauar, a highly experienced choir director and pianist, and her "Singing Sues" on stage will support those who aren't sure about the melody, all of which results in plenty of goosebumps, endorphins, and Christmas spirit.
Tomorrow, children, there will be something... After today's focus on the grown-ups, tomorrow our Christmas singing will take place with a focus on little angels and Christmas elves aged 4 and up.
