A Secret Revealed from Würzburg have been blending post-metal with influences from black metal, hardcore and sludge for over a decade. Massive walls of guitar, melancholic melodies and intense screams alternate with quiet, almost fragile moments. The band know how to build tension slowly and let their songs build up to emotional climaxes. They’re also bringing with them their new album, “The Ruin I Summoned Forth”, which is due for release on 16 October and whose new tracks unfold their full intensity when performed live. Anyone who appreciates bands such as Downfall of Gaia, Der Weg einer Freiheit or King Apathy will immediately feel at home here.
Praise the Plague from Berlin create a sound that fuses black metal, doom and sludge into a dark, monumental soundscape. Frantic blast beats meet crushing riffs, fragile melodies meet unbridled intensity. The songs deal with personal abysses, social pressure and the search for hope amidst the darkness – uncompromising, honest and emotional. With their latest album, *Suffocating in the Current of Time*, they have once again impressively developed their atmospheric style.
