The 6-day retreat takes place at the Little Paradise meditation and retreat center near Hamburg. The main themes of the retreat are: introspection, reconnection, self-discovery, meditation, silence, and nature.
This is a solo retreat. Booking a room as a couple (or generally for two or three people in one room) is possible. Other retreat guests will also be present. The extent to which guests choose to remain completely separate or to come together for activities such as walks, cooking, conversations, or similar pursuits is entirely up to them.
Upon request, expert retreat guidance is available. We suggest a daily schedule for our retreat guests that includes time for meditation or prayer, contemplation, walks in nature, reading, and brief discussions to share their inner process. Guests are free to choose how closely they wish to follow this suggestion or to follow their own retreat rhythm or plan.
Including:
- Overnight stay in a single room with shower
- Organic vegetarian food from our communal kitchen (for self-catering and preparation)
- Group meditations
- Retreat guidance
A week to come back to oneself - to find inner peace, to arrive at one's own center, to linger.
People of all religions and spiritual traditions, as well as atheists, are welcome. The house itself is not affiliated with any particular denomination. We simply cherish a quiet life in nature, interwoven with shared meditations, reflection, contemplation, and retreats. We sometimes describe our lifestyle as "monastery light," as it incorporates numerous elements of monastic life (focus on the inner process, community, shared periods of silence, etc.). Throughout the year, we host guests from approximately 50 countries who participate in this process for a few days or weeks.
