ausreichendes Frühstück mit freundlichen Service

4 Stufen bis zur Eingangstür, danach 2 m Absatz und nochmal 10 Stufen bis zur Anmeldung. Leider hatte ich darauf bei Bestellung nicht geachtet. Da ich auf Rollator angewiesen bin, war dies extrem umständlich, denn er musste immer hoch getra´gen werden. Zum Glück Zimmer im EG, Frühstücksraum im Keller. - nicht behindertengerecht und für bewegungseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen.

Teppichboden an Empfang und Treppenaufgang weist einen erheblichen Renovierungsstau aus. Handtücher enthielten keine Schlaufen zum Aufhängen. Richtige Handtuchhalter sind nicht vorhanden.

Positive:
Sehr nette Leute, hilfsbereit und nicht der übliche aufgesetzte Hoteltalk sondern ehrliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Nicht nur an der Rezeption sondern auch am Frühstücksbuffet. Das Frühstück ist nicht so groß und standardisiert wie in den Ketten, aber ausreichend für einen guten Start in den Tag. Die Umgebung, unteres Ende vom Steindamm, Saunaclub etc. sind vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache aber die Nähe zum Bahnhof und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe sind in meinen Augen ein absolutes Plus.

Negative:
Die Teppiche könnten mal eine Grundreinigung vertragen, in meinem Zimmer war der Teppich schon ziemlich ausgebleicht, schon sauber, aber man hat ihm die Jahre und ein bewegtes Leben durchaus angesehen.

Das Hotel hat nichts mit einem 4 Sterne Hotel zu tun. Alleine das Bad war eine Katastrophe. Viel zu klein. Man konnte sich darin kaum bewegen. Der Teppichboden im Flur verdreckt.

Die Zimmer waren sauber.
