Maas Natur

Fashion with a conscience

Favourite clothes of the highest quality and according to the strictest ecological guidelines: At Maas Natur you buy fairly produced natural fashion.

Water pollution, CO2 emissions, waste of resources - studies suggest that the fashion industry is responsible for around ten per cent of the world's environmental impact. Time to rethink.
That's what expectant parents Gisela Kaufmann-Maas and Reinhard Maas thought 38 years ago. The foundation stone was laid for the family business Maas Natur, which is run in the spirit of the common good. The range now includes sustainably and fairly produced natural fashion for the whole family, as well as numerous sustainable products, for example for the home.

Pure natural fibres - not just for sensitive children's skin

Maas Natur is a founding member of the International Association of the Natural Textile Industry (IVN) - an association of companies committed to producing fashion in a socially and environmentally responsible way. To ensure this, the family business has its products tested by independent testing organisations and certified according to quality labels: GOTS and IVN Naturtextil Best. Both labels guarantee that the products have been produced according to the strictest environmental guidelines. The result is long-lasting, popular products that offer excellent quality and comfort.
It is also part of the company's philosophy to do without many things, such as chemicals and the destruction of unsold garments. Despite these high standards, the prices are extremely fair - after all, as many people as possible should be able to afford the ecologically produced clothing.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Eimsbüttel & Eppendorf

Here, one can find magnificent old building façades, local and exquisite restaurants as well as fancy boutiques and owner-operated shops. While Eppendorf is rather fancy, one can feel the hanseatic serenity in Eimsbüttel. Both districts offer much green and water and are hence with good reason very popular neighbourhoods in Hamburg.
