Stefan Appel has set himself the task of freeing the cigar from the nimbus of exclusive spleens reserved for a minority: his tobacco products, private brands and imports are simply meant to be fun for smokers.
That's why there's always an introduction to the craftof cigar rolling on the first Saturday of each month: "The cigar maker" shows how it's done, and anyone who feels like it can try it out for themselves. The small shop in Altona with a long tradition is cosy and well-assorted, but no place for the nouveau rich jet-set: the lover is addressed here. For the perfect evening with your favourite cigar, the shop also offers selected types of rum.
