The Volksdorf summer bath is located in the north-east of Hamburg, in the district of Wandsbek. The bath was converted into a bathing establishment after peat cutting in the early 1930s.
The Volksdorf summer bath is the only naturist bath in Hamburg. However, bathers who prefer to swim clothed are equally welcome. The summer pool has a sandy beach, a large sunbathing area and various sports facilities where visitors can play basketball, beach volleyball, badminton, tennis or boules. A sauna is also available at certain times.
The pool is divided into a non-swimmer and swimmer area. A pool attendant is present.
