Landungsbrücken, Elbstrand or a tour to the Treppenviertel are probably familiar to every cyclist in Hamburg. But what if you simply decide to go against the flow? In just one hour of pure riding time, you can discover the highlights of the Elbe upstream on this Elbe-mal-anders route! This leaves enough time to discover the four stops augiebieg.

The tour starts at the German Port Museum, where you can learn all about the history of Hamburg shipping. Starting from the port of Hamburg, the tour continues towards the Elbbrücken bridges. Here is the floating café Entenwerder 1 and invites you to coffee and cake or a cool drink. In a quiet location, you can take a short break and gather strength for the onward journey. Nearby is the third stop, the Elbe island Kaltehofe. The island is on the one hand a nature park rich in species and on the other hand it has been designated as an industrial monument, there is a lot to discover here! From there, the last stop of the tour is already headed for, the Bergedorf Castle. On the way towards the castle you drive through Allermöhe and past the great way of the Wutzrock Festival, which takes place once a year under the motto "umsonst & draußen". The Bergedorfer castle lies on the course of the Bille and the last castle that Hamburg has preserved. If you are interested, you can visit the museum within the walls of the castle. If your legs are tired from all the tramping and exploring, just hop on the S-Bahn line 21 and take a relaxed ride back to the city!
