On Saturday, May 17, 2025, a robotics day will take place at the Ahrensburg City Library, Manfred-Samusch-Str. 3. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., visitors can learn about and try out a wide variety of robots.
Technical scientist Dr. Barbara Kranz-Zwerger from the Cave of Wonders introduces the robots to children and adults and demonstrates their functions.
The BlueBot and Botley are suitable for younger children ages 6 and up. These can be set in motion and controlled using simple commands via a remote control or directly on the robot. For slightly older children ages 8 and up, there are Dash, Dot, Thymio, and Sphero, which can be controlled using voice commands, hand signals, or an app.
Robots provide a playful introduction to the world of programming.
Admission is free. No registration is required. Waiting times may occur during large crowds.
