Nature Writing im Roman
- Other
Focus on Nature – the international Nature Writing Festival Hamburg 2025 presents our knowledge of nature, its impact, and its significance. Natural sciences and humanities, nonfiction, and literary formats present what they can say about nature: what can be said and where the limits of what can be said lie.
NATURE WRITING IN NOVELS - Wilderness and Cultivation. Writing and Doing. About Nature Writing. Readings and discussion with Bernd Marcel Gonner and Jan Röhnert. Moderated by Tanya Lieske
Bernd Marcel Gonner is a poet, essayist, and landscape conservationist. In 2021, he received the Nature Writing Prize. He lives on a remote farm in the Upper Tauber Valley. Jan Röhnert is also a poet and essayist, and also a professor of modern German literature. Their current books are entitled "Sometimes it seems to be spreading sails" and "Wilderness Work." At the Nature Writing Festival, they will engage in a dialogue about their "writing and practice in nature writing" and the "renaturalization of humanity." Tanya Lieske will lead a discussion with the authors and the audience after the reading.
The event takes place as part of the Nature Writing Festival Hamburg 2025.
