POETRY FOR A WILD CITY - The "Book of Determinations" by Mara-Daria Cojocaru. Reading and conversation with Hella Kemper
"We should take a leaf out of the book / of the mountain parrot anarchists." Mara-Daria Cojocaru writes poetry and research notes with a view beyond humanity. In her "Book of Determinations," she and her dog explore the metropolis of London, encountering people, plants, and other animals. "I leave our pace to the dog... / To think." The human perspective and the animal perspective are among the new determinations that philosopher and poet Mara-Daria Cojocaru seeks to inspire. Journalist and author Hella Kemper follows her with the audience and leads the subsequent discussion.
