Vicco von Bülow, better known as Loriot – who could forget the ingenious humourist and his unforgettable sketches, cartoons and films? Few others have captured the absurdities of everyday life quite so brilliantly. With his subtle wit, keen powers of observation and elegant command of language, he left a lasting mark on the German language. Lines such as »Die Ente bleibt draußen«, »Ein Klavier, ein Klavier« and »Das Ei ist hart« have become cult classics – and will remain so for generations to come.

In a new production with a fresh stage design, the ensemble of »The New Entertainment Production« brings some of Loriot’s finest sketches back to the stage. With outstanding comic timing, meticulous attention to detail and charming musical accompaniment, these brilliantly absurd scenes come to life once more. Loriot’s sharply observed everyday situations reveal their full grotesque comedy.
Audiences can look forward to an evening full of memories and hilarious highlights: the legendary duck belonging to Mr Müller-Lüdenscheidt, marriage counselling, buying a bed, lottery winner Erwin Lindemann and the yodelling school. A theatrical evening guaranteed to keep the audience laughing, with humour that never grows old. Ensemble leader Ralf Steltner is a musician, conductor and composer who works, among others, with the Hamburg Police Orchestra, KlassikPhilharmonie Hamburg and NDR.
